SCB - LHC
Since we moved back to Switzerland, I can again enjoy some real hockey. Or I should say, a real hockey atmosphere.
I have realized that in order for me to enjoy a hockey game, I need to be standing with stupid people next to me. Ideally, I would have had to fight my way through the crowd to reach this place, where I can barely, between 2 heads, see 70% of the ice.
I of course need to have a sausage (schüblig + senf (thommy bleue)) and a beer. Sorry, coke and pop corn just are not good enough.
I also want to see some passion, some guys screaming until they can't anymore, the whole stadium clapping in their hands.
Last time I went to the game in Lausanne, I had some "frissons" again.
For all these reasons, I prefer hockey in Switzerland.

Are you really saying that sitting in a cold alcohol free stadium thinking of the end of period when you can stand for 10 mins waiting to be served, then hit a ½litre and shot in less than 2 mins before a 'pit stop' and back to the action....or even sitting through 90mins of football without even the whiff of beer was not your idea of fun?
Missing you in the land of fun !
Fair enough!
But how about the football? Not quite the same as a HJK-KooTeePee game or other classical games in this football crazy country of ours...
